December 15, 2013 Doing Righteousness “Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.” (1 John 3:7)
Every genuine Christian knows that part of the salvation gift is the promise of being made “unblameable in holiness” (1 Thessalonians 3:13). We sometimes have trouble, however, with the concept of present-tense holiness in our everyday lifestyles.
John speaks of the abiding Christian who “sinneth not” (1 John 3:6). Indeed, such a Christian “doth not commit sin” (1 John 3:9) because, John notes, the “seed” of God “remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” Furthermore, “whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not” (1 John 5:18).
It’s accurate to translate those passages with the “continuing” implication of the Greek structure (i.e. “does not continue in [the practice of] sin,” etc.). However, the emphasis is on an obvious, continuous, clearly embracedlifestyleof righteous living!
The visible transformation from a worldly conformity (Romans 12:2) begins with a desire for “the sincere milk of [God’s] word” (1 Peter 2:2), fashioning ourselves after God’s holiness “in all manner of conversation” (1 Peter 1:14-15). Neither are we to let sin reign in our bodies, but we are to yield ourselves as “instruments of righteousness” (Romans 6:12-13). Since we are “risen with Christ,” we are to “mortify” the fleshly appetites, “put off” emotional outbursts that reflect an ungodly nature, and “put on” godly attributes so that whatsoever we do is done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:1-17). Introduction to Fritz's World
My philosophy (ugh, I hate that word) is simple. Here to glorify God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I/we shall discuss the downfall of humankind, problems including cause and effect in our society, and solution(s).We'll be talking about God here as well as the politics of our country that have driven us to the brink of the precipice near which we all stand. My question is this. Do we continue off this cliff, or do we have a national repentance/revival/renewal and maybe gain a new foothold? Or have things progressed so far that the next actions will be by God and the beginnings of the end of time as we know it? While I attempt to fact check as much information as possible, posted here on the political scene, I cannot check it all. I receive a lot of information from other bloggers, and private e-mails, as well as from TV and internet news sources. I haven't the time or ability to fact check every bit of information that comes in and that I post. No swearing or profanity allowed. If you feel it necessary, use asterisks in place of said language to make your point. I think we are all well versed in the language of today so as to get the ideas you'll be trying to put forth. If you're not already a Christian I would like to suggest you watch the "You Tube" video titled, "Dr. Kent Hovind's Answer for the NWO Part 3," linked in the dark blue area below on the home page. Thanks and enjoy!

Abraham Lincoln Said It
We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us, then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.— Abraham Lincoln, April 30, 1863
